Springfield School District has an opening for a contracted Special Education Teacher for Complex Learner Classroom at E.T. Richardson Middle School, effective immediately.     

The Complex Learner Classroom Teacher is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students who demonstrate significant cognitive, communication, and social/emotional needs.   Appropriate coaching for this postiion will be provided by the District through the Delaware County Intermediate Unit.                                     

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred); Valid state teaching certification in Special Education and updated clearances; Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs.
