ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES     

 

Summary: Performs general maintenance work inside and outside the physical plant such as rough and finish carpentry, concrete, masonry, glazing, painting, insulation, ceiling and floor covering replacement.

 

 

COLLABORATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work effectively with other district administrative, maintenance, and custodial staff.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  2. Experience in general maintenance, painting, glazing, ceiling and flooring replacement, concrete, masonry, hardware, and insulation.
  3. Welding, Finish Carpentry, and Rough Framing experience preferred.
  4. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.  Required to obtain FBI, State Police, and PA Child Abuse clearances.

 

Job Type: Full Time; 260 days per year; 40 hours per week
