Below is an Overview of the Steps in our Process.
Screening of Applicants – This step includes a review of applications and resumes received for the purpose of
identifying candidates to interview for available positions.
Screening Interviews – This step consists of a 10 to 15 minute interview designed to assess basic knowledge and
decision-making skills. There may be one or multiple interviewers depending on various circumstances. Successful
candidates are identified for movement to the next step in the process.
In-depth Interviews – This usually consists of a 20 minute interview that seeks to uncover deeper levels of
knowledge and decision-making than the screening interview. Successful candidates move to the next level of the process, the Demonstration Lesson.
Demonstration Lesson – This is an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their abilities to deliver what they
discuss in their interviews.
Other Steps – After candidates complete steps outlined above, we continuously review the successful candidate
pool in comparison to position availability. As we get closer to making final decisions, we prepare for
recommendations to our director by completing reference checks.
